Copilot doesn't create risk — it reveals what's already there
Forgotten sharing
Files shared with "everyone", guest links, and broad group access that teams forgot about.
Orphaned sites
Old project sites and libraries that nobody maintains but Copilot can still surface.
Rollout risk
Turning on Copilot without a pre-flight check leaves compliance and security teams guessing.

A Global Administrator approves on Microsoft's standard consent page. No user passwords are shared.
Remove access from Enterprise applications in Microsoft 365 admin whenever you choose.
Microsoft doesn't offer a "read sharing only" permission. We explain exactly what is requested and why.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a review take?
Connection setup is usually minutes once an admin approves. A full scan depends on estate size — small tenants may finish in an hour; large organisations with thousands of sites can take hours to days. You see live progress throughout.
What permissions are requested?
Read access to SharePoint sites, files, sharing links, and group membership. Microsoft presents the exact list on the consent screen before anyone approves.
Is anything changed in our tenant?
No. The assessment is read-only. We do not modify permissions, files, or settings.
Who needs to approve?
A Microsoft 365 Global Administrator. If your organisation uses an internal approval workflow, that can add extra time before consent is granted.
How do we revoke access?
In Microsoft 365 admin, open Enterprise applications, find the assessment app, and delete it. We can walk you through this on a demo.
Does it work for large tenants with thousands of sites?
Yes. We use a two-pass approach for very large estates — a lighter scan everywhere, then deeper inspection where risk signals appear — without requiring more hardware.
